Skeppshult’s pans work on all heat sources, including induction, open fire, and in the oven. They can handle high heat and all types of kitchen utensils, including metal. Always fry with butter or oil in the pan – when well seasoned, the pans will require less fat. You can serve directly from Skeppshult’s products, but avoid storing food in cast iron.

How to Care for Your Cast Iron Skillets and Dutch Ovens

Always wash your Skeppshult cast iron cookware by hand with warm water. Avoid dish soap and do not use the dishwasher. After cleaning, dry directly with a towel or, even better, on the stovetop. Apply a thin layer of cooking oil after each cleaning to maintain the non-stick surface and pristine condition.
